Wherever you are now in your process of planning a ceremony, I would love to help and support you.

Being a celebrant is about helping people mark important times in their lives in the most personal way. I officiate at both weddings and funerals, and I be honoured to work alongside you to tell your story, whether that’s celebrating your decision as a couple to commit to one another, or saying farewell to someone you have loved and lost.

In my earlier career I was a journalist, and one reason I became a celebrant is my love of words and stories. It is a huge privilege to share that in a way that helps others - to be trusted to write your story and deliver it with warmth and sensitivity on the day.

We can work together to create a unique celebration, blending your stories and memories, ritual, readings and music.

I chose the Humanists UK course to become an accredited celebrant, partly because the training is so good, and partly because I personally am not religious (though I'm not anti-religion). My belief is that I have one life, and it's down to me to live it as kindly and fully as I can, while respecting the different perspectives and diversity of beliefs of others. I always spend as much time as we need to fully understand your wishes.

In other areas of my life when I'm not working as a celebrant, I love going on long walks, exploring in beautiful places, and having sailing adventures. I enjoy dancing (all kinds, especially flamenco), going to live performances of music, dance and theatre, reading poetry and novels, cooking, gardening, trying new things and spending lots of time with my family and friends.

I'm based in London and am happy to travel further afield.
